In our current environment capital project planning is at the forefront for local governments across New York. Unfortunately, many finance and budget officers have historically lacked the tools required to implement and maintain a robust Capital Improvement Plan. This session will highlight some nationally recognized capital budgeting best practices and discuss how local governments can use modern software to create and communicate their capital plan to residents.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

  • Cancellation notices must be made in writing and emailed to info@nygfoa.org.
  • Cancellations made up to one week prior to the event, will be refunded the registration fee less an administrative fee of $15.00.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than one week before the event; the registrant is liable for the full amount of registration.
  • No Shows are liable for all registration fees.
