10:20 - 12:00 pm | ARPA Funding Roundtable:  The 'Then', The 'Now' and the 'What's Next'

Billions in American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funding have been distributed to State and local governments.  Guidance has been issued and continues to be updated regularly.  There are many questions regarding the use of the funds, certification of the use of the funds, and the proper accounting and financial reporting for the funds. 

This program will have a panel of government finance experts from across the services spectrum (legal, advisory, cash management, accounting and auditing, etc.) which will share what we know, what is happening currently and the critical roles government finance officers play in managing and complying with the requirements associated with ARPA funds. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive roundtables to share their 'ARPA stories' with the panel and colleagues.

COVID-19 ATTENDEE POLICY:

We are excited to be returning in person! As excited as we are to be back in person, we are also sensitive to the changing environment with respect to COVID-19 and are dedicated to hosting an event that has the best interest of our attendees front of mind. To accomplish this we have updated our attendee policy concerning COVID-19 listed below.

  • NYGFOA is requiring all attendees to be screened on arrival to establish full vaccination status OR a negative test taken no more than 72 hours prior to arrival. Vaccination status can be proved by vaccination card or Excelsior Pass. Those who fail to provide either will not be allowed to participate in this seminar.
  • Walk-in registrants must abide by these rules as well.
  • Regardless of vaccination status, NYGFOA requests that masks are worn throughout the day.
  • Masks may be removed while sitting and eating meals.

REGISTRATION POLICY: 

  • Payment should be made in advance or brought with you to the seminar.
  • Pre-registration is preferred.
  • On-site registrations are accepted; however, there will be an additional fee of $10.00. 
  • If you need a hard copy of the registration form, please contact the office. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

  • Cancellation notices must be made in writing and emailed to info@nygfoa.org.
  • Cancellations made up to one week prior to the event, will be refunded the registration fee less an administrative fee of $15.00.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than one week before the event; the registrant is liable for the full amount of registration.
  • No Shows are liable for all registration fees.
