Nuts and Bolts of Public Sector Cash Management (9:10 am - 10:25 am) 

This session introduces a high level overview of public sector cash management concepts to those new to government finance and finance officers looking to improve their understanding of this critical function.  Topics covered include the priorities government finance officers should adhere to when managing public sector cash, what public sector funds can be invested in, and how public sector funds are protected.

The Nuts and Bolts of Budgeting in the Public Sector (10:45 am - 12:00 pm) 

This session provides a high level overview of public sector budgeting.  Topics covered include the essential purposes of a budget and the steps for establishing a sound budget process.

  • GFI - Credit can be earned from participating in the live program (verified through polling) or viewing the recorded version of the program (viewers of the recorded program desiring to earn GFI credit must pass a short quiz).

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than one week before the event; the registrant is responsible for the full amount of registration.
