The New Yellow Book - What You Need to Prepare for Now (2:50 PM - 3:50 PM)

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), in July 2018, issued its revision to Government Auditing Standards (i.e. “Yellow Book”). These changes are the first changes since 2011 and are designed to ensure the standards continue to meet the needs of the federal, state and local government communities and the public these bodies serve.  These changes became effective for financial statement audits, attestation engagements, and reviews of financial statements for periods ending on or after June 30, 2020.

Learn what the 2018 Yellow Book changes are and how you can be best prepared for your next audit.
