We will look at practical tips, tricks and strategies that are helpful to both the beginner and the experienced pro.  These tools will help you leverage the power of MS Excel to create spreadsheets that are both functional and beautiful.  Topics will include spreadsheet esthetics, cell fills, shrink to fit, cell merging, most common functions, simple conditional formatting and basic data validation.  All of the techniques will immediately enhance your spreadsheets and provides a good foundation for the additional sessions where we will delve deeper.
