This Webinar builds on the concepts of internal control covered in Foundations Internal Control. This workshop will focus on:

• The latest internal control vulnerabilities and risk factors.
• The various types and examples of internal controls ranging from preventive and detective controls to administrative and accounting controls.
• Coordinating the components of risk assessment with management’s objectives.
• Best practice recommendations augmented by case studies of internal control lapses.
• The potential role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in public sector internal control procedures.

REGISTRATION POLICY: 

• Payment should be made in advance.

CPE/GFI CREDITS

• CPE- Only viewers of the live program can earn CPE credit.
• GFI-  Credit can be earned by viewing the live or recorded version of this program.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

• Cancellation notices must be made in writing and emailed to info@nygfoa.org.
• Cancellations made up to one week prior to the event, will be refunded the registration fee less an administrative fee of $15.00.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than one week before the event; the registrant is liable for the full amount of registration.
• No Shows are liable for all registration fees.
